On weathering life's storms.

Yes, life's journey is fraught with trials. We must not be daunted, though. We ought to remember that we are not the only ones who are undergoing the same. Others in fact may have gone through more harrowing experiences. It should be comforting to know that many came out unscathed. With nary a bruise. And they could even talk about what happened to them with much ease - with no pain, whatsoever.
Anyway, if at the moment we are dealing with a difficult situation and find it hard to face it single-handed, we can feel free to share it with another and have him share his experiences with us, too. We may not realize it, but there is genuine solace in the shared experiences of others. Truth is, learning to carry each other can help us get through life's toughest times. Another thing: let us learn and do our best to weather life's storms.
Before I go, I would like to share with you .....

WEATHERING LIFE'S STORMS

Fear not the scorn of men -
look straight into their eyes;
Let him who has not erred among them
be first to cast a stone with all his might!

Fear not to face the consequence
of deeds you've done in haste;
Admitting faults and changing ways
will put your mind to rest!

Fear not night's darkest hour -
it wouldn't last for long;
After the stroke of midnight
dawn will follow soon!

Should there be fear in your heart -
let it be the fear of the Lord;
Whose word is alive and active,
sharper than any two-edged sword!

"Heavenly Father, hear now my prayer
on this early 31st of March morn..
May You grant me hope and strength
to bear sorrows, to weather life's storms."
